The National Coalition for the Advancement of Natives in Higher Education wishes to champion the American Indian, Alaskan Indian, and Native Hawaiian student experience and how the university system including private, state, and tribal schools is hindering the achievements of natives. Through communication, collaboration, equity, and respect we hope to develop conversations that include a broad spectrum of administrators, professors, scholars, and professionals from the higher education community.
What this blog will do
We will act as a resource to enhance dialogues, information, and scholarship on the higher education student experience and unify the American Indian, Alaskan Indian, and Native Hawaiian perspective. This blog will be using information from a variety of information websites such as: American Indian Higher Education Consortium and the Tribal College Journal.
We want to hear from you
Because the coalition champions community, collaboration, and teamwork we want to hear about your experiences and opinions about the issues in higher education and student success for American Indian, Alaskan Indian, and Native Hawaiian students. Please feel free to leave comments and opinions.
